Hey there! We are The Daily Crumb Bakery, and our story started as a total passion project in a tiny, home kitchen right here in the town of San Marcos. What began as a lifelong obsession with mastering the art of French pastry and classic American comfort bakes quickly turned into a thriving neighborhood staple. We truly believe that a great bakery does so much more than just feed people. Rather it creates a cozy, welcoming space where neighbors can pause, connect, and celebrate life’s little moments together. Over the years, we have grown from a one person hustle into an incredible team of pastry chefs who share that exact same love for scratch made goodness and warm hospitality.
Every single recipe we use has been tested, tweaked, and obsessed over until it hits absolute perfection. We specialize in slow-fermented sourdough loaves, incredibly buttery laminated doughs, and show stopping custom cakes that serve as the centerpiece for your biggest life events. Baking is a wild science balanced with pure artistic expression, and we pour our entire hearts into every single loaf of bread and frosted cupcake that leaves our ovens. Food brings people joy and honestly, our favorite part of the day is getting to know our regulars by name and hearing the laughter fill up our dining room every morning.
